Nashua Man Made Child Hide Drugs: Police
Steven Fleury, of Nashua, made a child hide drugs during a traffic stop, police said.
NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Monday night on charges he made a child hide drugs during a traffic stop on Bridge Street. Steven Fleury, 36, was held on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment in Nashua District Court. Police said he has a lengthy criminal history qualifying him as a "habitual offender."

Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said officers conducted a traffic stop on Fleury's vehicle for an inspection sticker violation. Fleury was not authorized to drive a vehicle and arrested, Allard said.

"During the course of the investigation it was later learned that prior to Fleury being taken into
custody he had provided a juvenile, who had been in the vehicle, a controlled drug in an attempt
to evade police detection," Allard said in a statement.
Fleury was subsequently charged with endangering the welfare of a child, drug possession, driving without giving proof and driving as a habitual offender.
