Nashua Man Nabbed for Late-Night Prowling in Hudson

More suspects sought, residents told to check for items missing from cars.

Ryan Baldwin, 21, of Nashua, was arrested early April 25 after he was found hiding in a portable garage by Hudson Police in connection with a late-night prowling incident.

At about 12:30 a.m. Hudson Police Officer Scott MacDonald was on patrol when he saw four subjects in the area of Lions Avenue and Adelaide Street. As  MacDonald turned his patrol car around in an effort to question the individuals, they disappeared from his view.

At about the same time, a resident on Savin Street called Hudson Police Department to report her car alarm had gone off, and she observed a juvenile subject fleeing from the scene.

Police Officer James Connor, who works with a police dog, Officer Michael Davis, Officer Eric Ferreira and Officer Jason Downey responded to assist in searching for the subjects. Officer MacDonald located Baldwin hiding in a portable garage on Lions Avenue.

Baldwin was arrested and charged with resisting arrest or detention; prowling, and criminal trespass. Baldwin refused the services of the Bail Commissioner and will be arraigned April 25 at Nashua District Court.

A female juvenile was also located in the area of Blackstone Drive and taken into protective custody. Two other subjects were involved, but were not immediately located.

The Hudson Police Department is asking the residents in the area of Adelaide Street and surrounding streets to check their vehicles for stolen articles. Anyone missing articles from their vehicles are encouraged to contact Hudson Police Department at 603-886-6011.
