NASHUA, NH — A local man was named a technician of the year for delivering excellent customer service as an automotive tech. Robert Daigle, who is employed at the Pep Boys in Nashua, was one of seven techs from the United States and Puerto Rico to earn the honor this year. A second New Hampshire man – Rob Rathburn of Manchester – was also named a Tech of the Year winner.

Daigle received the honor and was recognized as being one of the top performing automotive service techs based on performance and customer service metrics, according to the Icahn Automotive Group, the parent company of Pep Boys.

“Our automotive technicians are the backbone of our service organization,” said Brian Kaner, president of service at Icahn Automotive. “They are the hard-working members of our team who make our customers’ safety a priority every day. The ‘Tech of the Year’ winners represent the very best of our team from across the country.”
