Nashua Man Pulls Out Gun at Wendy's Drive-Thru: Police

Jose Batista-Salva was charged with armed robbery.

NASHUA, NH — A gun-toting Nashua man robbed Wendy’s on New Year’s Day, police said.

Jose Batista-Salva, 29, with no fixed address, was arrested Wednesday.

Police said at Jan. 1 at about 10:50 p.m., he approached the East Hollis Street Wendy’s drive-thru, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. He fled on foot, police said.

Police said when they tracked him down, he was intoxicated while caring for two children.

  • Being a felon in possession of a weapon
  • Witness tampering
  • Endangering the welfare of a child
  • Drug possession

He refused bail pending an arraignment.
