Nashua Man Sexually Assaulted Girl: Police
Nashua police said Edward Rivera sexually assaulted a girl multiple times over an "extended" period, police said.
NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was recently arrested on charges he sexually assaulted a girl multiple times over an "extended" period, police announced Monday morning. Edward Rivera, 29, was charged with six counts of sexual assault. He was held on $100,000 bail pending an arraignment Monday in Nashua District Court.

Nashua police Lieutenant Kerry Baxter said on Tuesday, June 20, officers were called to a city residence for a report of a sexual assault.

"It was reported that a juvenile was sexually assaulted by someone she knew and that the assaults took place in Nashua and over an extended period of time," Baxter said in a statement.
Rivera was arrested Friday and charged with five counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of sexual assault.
