Nashua Man Stole from Macy's, Punched Employee, Hid in Closet: Police

Nashua police said they tracked down a robbery suspect Tuesday and arrested him during a struggle.

Dominick Montalvo, 21, of Thayer Court, Nashua, allegedly stole items from the Nashua Macy’s on Nov. 13. He then punched an employee who confronted him, police said.

Security cameras captured the incident and on Dec. 2, police said they tracked him down to a local residence. Montalvo hid in a closet and refused to come out, police said. He was eventually taken into custody.

He was charged with robbery and resisting arrest. He was held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester pending an arraignment Thursday.
