Nashua Man Wanted in Mass. as Fugitive

Vernon Davis was also charged for possession of a gun, a violation of his status as a convicted felon.

Vernon Davis, 27, of 41 Brinton Drive, Nashua, was arrested June 10 for being a fugitive from justice after a traffic stop in Nashua.

Davis is wanted by the Lowell, Mass., Police Department on felony stalking charges. Davis was arrested after he was stopped by police while driving on the Henri Burque Highway. At that time, Davis was also charged with a class B felony as he was in possession of a firearm, after having previously been convicted of a felony.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment. Davis is currently being held at the Nashua Police Department pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court and then extradition to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
