Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau Won't Seek Re-election
She reportedly may consider a run for governor.

Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau announced Tuesday she will not seek re-election.
Lozeau, 54, was first elected in 2007 and re-elected in 2011. Her term expires in January 2016.
The Union Leader reported Lozeau said she may consider a run for governor at some point. She said her time as mayor has been an ”honor.”

Lozeau’s political career started in 1984 when she was elected to the House of Representatives. She served eight terms.
Chris Williams, president of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, said he’s considering a run for mayor.

“I will be launching my own exploratory effort in the coming days to determine if I am the right candidate to succeed her,” he wrote in a Facebook post.
The Nashua Telegraph reported three aldermen—David Deane, James Donchess and Daniel Moriarty—are also considering a run for mayor.
