Nashua Mother Tampered With Witness to Help Son: Police

A Nashua mother tried to influence a witness in her son's domestic violence case, police said.

Nashua, NH — A Nashua woman tried to influence a witness to drop domestic violence charges against her son, police said.

Leticia Jaime-Mora, 47, of Benson Avenue, was arrested Friday and charged with felony witness tampering.

Earlier this year, her son was charged with beating his wife so severely she required hospitalization.

"Jaime-Mora wrote a hand-written letter to an individual known to her in an effort to compel the individual to drop (the) charges," police said in a statement.

Jaime-Mora was released on $10,000 bail pending an arraignment.
