Nashua Police Charge Four In Cocaine Distribution Bust

Two-month investigation into cocaine distribution in Nashua leads to four arrests and recovery of a stolen handgun.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua Police investigation into cocaine distribution in the city led to the arrest of four city men on drug possession and sale charges on Wednesday. The investigation led to the search of three drug distribution locations in the city as well as the recovery of a stolen handgun.

Juan Suarez, 25, was charged with criminal liability for conduct of another and special felony sale of cocaine, Christopher Santiago, 34, was charged with special felony sale of cocaine, Julio Amaro, 27, was charged with special felony sale of cocaine and Melvin Campbell, 18, was charged with special felony possession with intent to distribute of marijuana.

Nashua Police's Narcotics Intelligence Division began the investigation in August. They obtained warrants for Suarez, Santiago and Amaro in conjunction with the investigation. While executing search warrants at three locations, Nashua Police said they discovered additional evidence of drug distribution and the handgun. Campbell was arrested when he was found outside of one of the locations in possession of marijuana that officers believe he intended to distribute.

Suarez was held on bail and was to be arraigned at Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Santiago was held on bail and was to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Amaro was held on bail and was to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Campbell was held on bail and was to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
