Nashua Police Credit Public After Arrest in Gun Case

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police said tips from the public led to a gun suspect's arrest. Michael Roig, 25, of Nashua, was arrested Friday and charged with felony theft. Police said on Nov. 6, Roig stole a car with a gun inside, stole the gun, then ditched the vehicle at the Pheasant Lane Mall the next day.

Police issued a press release with a security camera photo of the suspect and asked the public for tips, which led to Roig's arrest and the recovery of the gun.

Roig was held on $5,000 bail pending an arraignment.
