Nashua Police Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash
A man died after a crash on Amherst Street Saturday. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors to the crash, police said.

NASHUA, NH — Police in Nashua are investigating a fatal crash on Saturday on Amherst Street.
Around 2:30 a.m., officers were sent to the area of 410 Amherst St. for a crash report. The accident involved a single vehicle, Sgt. Matt Allen, of the department’s Special Investigations Division, said.
The driver, a 44-year-old man, was pronounced dead a short time later.

The department’s collision reconstruction unit was notified and, along with other police, continued investigating the incident.
“At this time, it does not appear that drugs or alcohol contributed to this collision,” he said.

The investigation is ongoing, Allen added.
