Nashua Police Investigating Murder-Suicide
Deceased woman found last night on the Baldwin Street Bridge; man barricades himself in Hutchinson Street home and shoots himself.

Nashua Police and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office are investigating an apparent murder-suicide incident that began last night, according to a statement.
At around 11 p.m. on Nov. 29, police were called to the Baldwin Street Bridge for a report of a deceased woman found on the bridge. They were later called to Hutchinson Street.
“Shortly after that female’s body was discovered, Nashua police responded to a residence at 1 Hutchinson Street in Nashua,” according to Jeffery A. Strelzin, senior assistant attorney general. “An adult male was reported to be inside that residence, alone, with multiple firearms and was refusing to come out.”

The city’s SWAT team was activated and it attempted to convince the man to come out of the house. At around 7:30 a.m., the team entered the residence and found the man dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“Based on the investigation so far, it appears that the deceased male killed the female who was discovered on the Baldwin Street Bridge and then killed himself,” Strelzin said. “Autopsies are expected on Monday to confirm the male and female’s cause and manner of death. Their names are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
