Nashua Police Investigating Possible Abduction Attempt Near School
Police said an older man pulled and asked a girl if she wanted to pet his dog.

Nashua police are investigating a possible abduction attempt near Pennichuck Junior High School Thursday morning.
Police said a female student was walking in the area of 286 Manchester St. on her way to school when a man in his 30s or early 40s pulled up and asked if she wanted to pet his dog. The girl refused and the man drove away, police said, adding he made no attempt to pull the girl inside the car.
The suspect is white, with curly brown hair and a larger nose, police said. He had a small tan dog with curly hair. He was driving a newer, mid-size, silver, four-door sedan.

Police said the incident should serve as a reminder for parents to talk to their children about being approached by strangers.
