Nashua Police Investigating Worksite Fatality
A tree reportedly fell on a worker on Prescott Street on Tuesday. The worker was taken to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries.

NASHUA, NH — Police and other authorities are investigating what appears to be an accidental death at a worksite on Prescott Street on Tuesday.
Around 8:45 a.m., police, Nashua Fire Rescue, and AMR EMTs were sent to an address for a medical call. While there, it was learned a man had suffered “significant injuries” related to a worksite incident. According to scanner chatter, the case may have involved a tree that fell on the worker.
The man was taken to a local hospital but died later.

Sgt. Andrew Lane of the department’s criminal investigation division said the man’s family had been notified. Authorities, too, are investigating the incident.
