Nashua Police: Man Strangled Woman Last Week
Johnathan Lozada is facing numerous charges.

A local man is facing multiple charges after an alleged incident last week.
Johnathan Lozada, 25, of Nashua, was arrested on Oct. 17, and charged with domestic violence second-degree assault, a felony, two counts of domestic violence simple assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, theft, and resisting arrest charges.
According to a press statement, on Oct. 16, officers were sent to a past tense domestic disturbance with a woman alleging that Lozada had strangled her, sustaining minor injuries. The victim and Lozada reportedly knew each other.

Officers investigated the matter and determined that Lozada was allegedly involved in the assault. He was also arrested on other charges.
Lozada was held on $12,000 cash bail and was arraigned earlier today. He is facing up to 12 years in prison, plus fines, according to police.

Lozada was arrested more than five years ago for allegedly striking another man with a bottle, according to the Nashua Telegraph archives.
