Nashua Police Seek Assistance with Bike Path Robbery

Two teens allegedly assault two men near Palm Street.

The Nashua Police Department is seeking the public’s help concerning an assault case last month, according to a press release from Lt. Denis Linehan of the criminal investigation division.

At just before 10 p.m. on Aug. 29, officers were called to the area of the bike path near Palm Street for a report of a robbery. When they arrived, they spoke with two men who had been victims of assaults. One man was punched in the face and hit with a bottle to the back of the head; the other man was knocked to the ground and had his wallet stolen.

The man who was hit in the head was treated at Southern NH Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Linehan.

Police are looking for two assault suspects: One Caucasian or Hispanic; the other African-American. Both were in their late teens. Police have no clothing description at this time.
