Dina Akel helps make prom dreams come true

Nashua Business Owner Shares Fashion Expertise at Belle of the Ball, Making Prom a Reality for Over 1,100 Students
Dina Akel, owner and CEO of Vieira Luxe, Nashua’s trusted destination for accessible, inclusive, and affordable occasion wear, brought her fashion expertise to Belle of the Ball at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston on April 6. Since 2005, Anton's Cleaners has collected nearly 80,000 gowns to make prom special for area girls who struggle with the cost of this special high school event. Anton's Cleaners partnered with Enterprise Bank and Jordan's Furniture and this year and offered dresses, shoes, purses, and jewelry free of cost to more than 1,100 students. Dina volunteered as a personal shopper for several teens, eager to find their special prom dress and accessories. “I was honored to help these smart, capable and focused young woman experience the joy of fashion and to find their own personal style. I will definitely volunteer next year and am eager to donate gowns for this important event,” Dina said.
Unlike other prom gown collection drives, this program culminates with a day-long boutique in Boston, where volunteers provide a magical experience for the qualified participants.
Dina and her team offer a curated fashion collection, comprised of unique one -of-a-kind new designs, overstock, and discontinued styles sourced from esteemed design houses from across the nation.
