Sharon Educator To Lead One Of NH's Largest Districts
Jahmal Mosley was hired as the new Nashua schools superintendent after serving as assistant superintendent in Sharon, Massachusetts.
NASHUA, NH — The Nashua school system has a new leader in Jahmal Mosley, who recently selected as superintendent following a months-long search. Mosley will replace interim Superintendent Cornelia Brown, who served in that capacity after former Superintendent Mark Conrad resigned in 2016. Conrad served for seven years.

"I'm honored and excited to be selected as the Nashua Superintendent," Mosley said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to working with and meeting parents, teachers, students, staff, and all stakeholders of the Nashua community."

Mosley has worked in public education for 19 years. He is currently assistant superintendent in Sharon, Massachusetts. He starts work in Nashua July 1. He has a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts and has held positions in Cambridge, Worcester, Middleboro, and Somerset in the Bay State.
"Dr. Mosley is a good match for our district," superintendent search committee chair Dotty Oden said in a statement. "He has a wide variety of educational experience and will be a strong and effective leader who will move our district forward."

Oden added, "The Board of Education would like to extend its sincere thanks to the outgoing Interim Superintendent Cornelia Brown for her service to the Nashua School District over the past year."
The Nashua school district is the second-largest in the state.
