Nashua Sex Offender Arrested
Nashua sex offender Wilfredo Cruz, of West Hollis Street, was arrested Tuesday; police said he failed to disclose his address.
NASHUA, NH — A Nashua sex offender was arrested Tuesday after police said he didn't properly register his address as required by his conviction. Wilfredo Cruz, 41, of 104 West Hollis St., Apt. C, was convicted in 2003 of rape in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
In June, Nashua police said they received information that Cruz was in violation of the terms of his conviction, which require him to register his address with police.
"Cruz failed to inform a change of address and failed to register as required," Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter said in a statement.

Cruz was held on $5,000 bail pending an arraignment Wednesday.
