Nashua South Faces Off Against Bow In Granite State Challenge​

Students from both the schools will answer questions on Saturday on the New Hampshire PBS students knowledge contest program.

DURHAM, NH — The third game of the new season of Granite State Challenge will air at 6 p.m. on Saturday on New Hampshire PBS with Bow High School facing off against Nashua South High School.

Playing for Bow High are captain and junior Alessandra Sargent, senior Madeliene Kropp, senior Kate Billow, and senior Adem Aricanli. The team alternates are Rorie Cochrane, Dan Miranda, Thomas Sargent, Emily Vincent, Honor Kula, and Logan Fox. The team is coached by Michele Hlavez. Bow High School enrolls 625 students.

Playing for Nashua South High are captain and senior Sri Korandla, senior Kiritu Gachuki, senior Keshav Rangan, and sophomore Curtis Newton. The team alternates are senior Hrishi Joshi and sophomore Deetya Nagri. Nashua South High is coached by Lex Duval and enrolls 1,790 students.

Granite State Challenge features New Hampshire's top high school academic quiz teams as they demonstrate remarkable teamwork, quick thinking, and smarts to beat the clock and buzz in first on this iconic New Hampshire game show. The game emphasizes quick recall of math, science, social studies, language arts, and fine arts facts — along with questions about current events, entertainment, sports, and New Hampshire.
