Nashua South Put On Shelter-In-Place After Bullet Found At School
Update: Police have locked down Nashua South High School, "out of an abundance of caution," after a bullet was found on Tuesday morning.

Update: Police lifted the shelter-in-place after determining there was no threat. Police, however, will maintain an increased presence at the school for the rest of the day, according to a post on X.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua South High School was put into a “shelter-in-place” on Tuesday morning after a single bullet was found at the school, police said on X.

The bullet was found in a toilet, according to the alert.
“Out of an abundance of caution,” the alert stated, “the school has been placed in a shelter-in-place while the situation is being investigated.”

The alert said there was no active threat at the school and both students and staff are safe. There will, however, be an increased police presence at the school as the investigation continues.
