Nashua Stabbing in Tropical Lounge Parking Lot: Man Arrested
Nashua police said Julio Macias-Bustamante stabbed a man in the back.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua police on Tuesday announced an arrest in connection with a November stabbing in the parking lot of the Tropical Lounge on West Hollis Street. Julio Macias-Bustamante, 23, was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree assault.
The stabbing happened November 20 at about 1 a.m. Macias-Bustamante stabbed a man in the back during a dispute then fled the scene, according to Nashua police Lt. Craig Allard. Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for Macias-Bustamante on December 28. He was arrested Monday after an officer identified him as a passenger in a vehicle during a routine traffic stop, Allard said.
Macias-Bustamante was held on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment Tuesday in Nashua District Court.
