Riley William Connor of Amherst, has received the following from The University of Alabama: Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration. UA awarded some 5,716 degrees during spring commencement May 3-5.

Colby-Sawyer College recognizes 234 students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2019 spring semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Kavim Bhatnagar is a member of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute baseball team that captured the 2019 NEWMAC West Division title. The Engineers have captured the division four of the last five seasons under the guidance of head coach Mike Callahan.

Meegan Ann McCarthy was among 114 students to receive their degrees during Greensboro College's Commencement exercises on May 11, 2019. McCarthy, from Loudon, received a B.S. in Psychology and Art.

Samantha Fogel, of Bow, was named the recipient of The Babcock Prize in Philosophy and Pedagogy at Hamilton College's Class & Charter Day, held on May 13. Established in 1950, the event combines the traditional Class Day celebrating the end of classes with a commemoration of the granting of College's charter on May 26, 1812. Fogel, a senior majoring in philosophy, is a graduate of The Derryfield School. The Babcock Prize in Philosophy and Pedagogy is awarded to a senior who has excelled "in philosophy, and particularly in the science of pedagogy."
