Nashua Students Win Granite State Challenge Title Spot
The Nashua High School South Granite State Challenge team advanced to final round of the quiz show set to air May 13.
NASHUA, NH — A team of Nashua students has advanced to the championship of the Granite State Challenge, the long-running high school quiz show on New Hampshire Public Television. The Nashua High School South team defeated Bishop Guertin High School last week to earn a spot in the championship round. Nashua will face Bedford High School in the finals, which will air Saturday, May 13 at 6 p.m. on NHPTV Prime.
The Nashua South team is seeking a repeat of last year, when they won the championship. The team is comprised of senior Captain Nisha Devasia, senior Jack Leatherman, junior Waithira Kiritu, sophomores Ankita Devasia and Ben Telerski McCann and freshman George Eid.
