Nashua Teen John Goff Formally Charged with Murder
Goff, 17, is accused of killing 49-year-old Nashua resident Benjamin Marcum (pictured).

A 17-year-old Nashua resident was charged with murdering a 49-year-old man last week.
John Goff was charged with second-degree murder. Police said he stabbed Benjamin Marcum multiple times.
Goff waived his arraignment Monday, WMUR reported.

“He’s way too kind-hearted of a person to do something like this,” one of Goff’s friends told WMUR.
Marcum was found with grave injuries Thursday night on a bike path near his home on Palm Street.

A prosecutor told WMUR authorities may be reviewing video surveillance footage as part of the case.
Nashua police said they are still looking for information on the case and urged those with tips to contact them at 603-594-3500.
