Nashua's latest weather forecast: a winter storm watch is in effect Sunday.
NASHUA, NH — Another foot of snow is on the way for Nashua Sunday. On Thursday, a nor'easter dumped about 13 inches of snow on the city. The next storm will hit Sunday morning and bring up to 15 inches of snow, according to latest forecasts. A winter storm watch is in effect Sunday morning through Monday afternoon:
- The National Weather Service...has issued a Winter Storm Watch...which is in effect from Sunday morning through Monday afternoon.
- Accumulations...6 or more inches of snow possible. Some areas may see over a foot.
- Timing...Snow begins Sunday morning and becomes heavy at times Sunday afternoon and night. The snow will taper off by early Monday afternoon.
- Impacts...On Sunday, snow will develop and become heavy at times during the afternoon. The snow will be blown about by strong winds at times, mainly near the coast. Some power outages possible due to heavy wet snow where temperatures remain near 32 degrees and where rain mixes in near the coast.
- Winds...Northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
