Nashua Woman, 60, Charged with Shoplifting from 5 Stores
Denise Doucette stole a host of items worth $1,500, police said.

The following is from Nashua police:
On January 16, 2015 members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operations Bureau arrested Denise Doucette, age 60, of 7 Coliseum Avenue Apartment 119, Nashua, New Hampshire for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer Consolidation, a Class A Felony. Doucette was arrested at Kohl’s, 101 Coliseum Avenue, Nashua, at approximately 5:49 PM.

On January 16, 2015 at approximately 4:36 PM, the Nashua Police Department received a report of a shoplifting incident at Kohl’s department store. A store employee advised that a female had selected numerous items from within the store and exited without paying for them. She was immediately detained just outside by Kohl’s staff.
Officers were able to identify the detained woman as Denise Doucette. During the investigation it was also determined that Doucette had not only stolen from Kohl’s on January 16th but had also stolen numerous items from various other stores in Nashua on January 15, 2015 to include Charming Charlie, Go Calendars, and Macy’s located at the Pheasant Lane Mall, and the Christmas Tree Shops located at 41 Gusabel Avenue, Nashua. The combined total value of the items that were stolen by Doucette between January 15, 2015 and January 16, 2015 were in excess of $1,500 classifying the offense as a Class A Felony.

A Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Doucette was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court Division-Nashua Court on February 12, 2015.
