Nashua Woman Pawned Stolen Wedding Ring: Police

Nashua police said Yolanda Kennedy was arrested after pawning stolen wedding and engagement rings.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman was arrested on charges pawned off stolen wedding and engagement rings, according to police. Yolanda Kennedy was charged with receiving stolen property, a felony. She was arrested Thursday.

Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said in December, officers opened an investigation a woman reported her diamond engagement ring and wedding band were stolen from her residence. They determined Kennedy obtained the rings and sold them at a local pawn shop, Allard said. The rings were eventually recovered and returned to the victim. Kennedy was held on bail pending an arraignment September 8 in Nashua District Court.
