Nashua Woman Scammed Friend of $3,200 For Rent: Police
Melissa Gaudet, of Nashua, was charged with felony forgery.
NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman stole a friend's check to pay $3,200 in rent, police said. Melissa Gaudet, 49, of Kinsley Street, was charged with felony forgery.
Police said on October 17, they responded to 11 Gray Avenue for a report of forgery. The victim said Gaudet stole one of her checks and forged her signature to pay $3,200 for rent.
Gaudet was arrested December 21. She was released on $10,000 bail pending an arraignment February 2 in Nashua District Court.
