Nashua Woman Scammed Grandma Out Of $35K: Police
Amy Haven, of Nashua, was charged with exploiting an elderly individual — a felony.
NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman was arrested on charges she scammed her grandmother out of $35,000, police announced Monday. Amy Haven, also known as Ashton Haven, 28, was charged with exploiting an elderly individual — a felony.
Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter said detectives started an investigation into Haven on January 24 and determined she "financially exploited" her grandmother to the tune of more than $35,000, using the money for her "own personal benefit."
Haven was arrested Friday and held on $5,000 bail pending an arraignment.
