Nashua Pheasant Lane Mall Worker Stole From Safe: Police

Cassundra Cook, of Nashua, worked at JC Penney and stole cash from a safe, police said.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman was arrested Wednesday on charges she stole cash from a safe while working at JC Penney in the Pheasant Lane Mall. Cassundra Cook, 29, with no fixed address, was charged with felony theft and released on $240 bail.

Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said in January, store staff contacted police and said Cook was involved in an internal theft.

"Cook had access to the store’s safe on numerous occasions and took cash," Allard said in a statement.

Cook is due in Nashua District Court July 10, police said.
