Nashua's 1st Snowstorm of Winter to Drop 4-6 Inches

Nashua will get hit with 4-6 inches of snow in the first major storm of winter.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua will get hit with 4-6 inches of snow in the first major snowstorm of the winter Tuesday.

The snow will start in the predawn hours Tuesday then change to sleet around noon.

Tuesday morning’s commute will be be dangerous and there could be power outages, according to the National Weather Service. State highway workers treated the Everett Turnpike Monday ahead of the storm. If power goes out, you can follow updates on the Eversource outage map.

State Emergency Management Director Perry Plumber urged drivers to use caution Tuesday morning.

“It’s important to slow down, leave extra time to arrive, and give emergency vehicles plenty of space,” he said in a statement.
