New For 2012: Silver Knights Charities

Nashua's Silver Knights baseball club announces the start of Silver Knights Charities. With Silver Knights Charities the team will raise money in different ways and donate the money back to the Greater Nashua community.

First on the agenda: An opportunity for fans to take home a permanent piece of the 2011 FCBL Championship, a personalized championship ring. 

Only one fan will be lucky enough to win a personalized ring identical rings worn by each player, coach and front office representative.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our inaugural season in Nashua with the Silver Knights winning the FCBL Championship,” said Silver Knights President Tim Bawmann. “We are excited to announce a chance for one lucky fan to preserve the championship memory with their own personalized Silver Knights Championship ring while raising money we can give back to the community.”

Fans can purchase a $25 raffle ticket for a chance to win. Winner will be  announced on Opening Day of 2012.  Only 100 tickets will be sold, increasing the odds of winning the personalized ring.

Another way fans can support the Silver Knights success is through FUNdraising. Here's how it works:

• Pick a game for your fundraiser group

• Sell $5 tickets to that specific game

• Your organization keeps $2 on each ticket sold. (sell 100 tickets, that's $200)

• Your organization has the chance to operate a 50/50 raffle during the game, and keep the profit.

• Silver Knights will donate a "first-pitch package" and a luxury suite rental for a game of your choice during the home regular season (depending on availability)

This is a great way to get your organization out for a fun and affordable outing while raising some money at the same.
