New Hampshire Students Receive Broadcast Scholarships
The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters issued $18,000 in scholarships to students from Nashua, Exeter, and other communities.

MANCHESTER, NH — The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters donated $18,000 to Granite state college students who are pursuing careers in broadcasting, journalism, or related fields while enrolled in two- or four-year colleges and universities.
The students received the scholarships on Wednesday from Tracy Caruso, the executive director of the NHAB.
Amanda Goyette of Nashua, who attends Southern New Hampshire University, received the $5,000 Al Sprague Memorial Scholarship.

Students awarded the $2,500 Student Broadcast Scholarships were Drew Hallett of Dover, who attends Husson University; Payton Cavanaugh of Troy, who attends Emerson College; Benjamin Weed, of Exeter, attending High Point University; and Benjamin Adams of Hampstead, NH, who will attend Syracuse University.
Six students were chosen to receive $500 Families in Broadcasting Scholarships. These scholarships were created in 2013 to aid NHAB members as their children pursue higher education.

Scholarships were awarded to Abigail Mitchell, who is attending UNH; Alexandra Bessette, who is going to Endicott College; Seneca Baldi, who attends College of the Holy Cross; Makenna Lord, who is attending the University of Hartford; Ella Lange, who studies at the University of Rhode Island; and Owen Young, who attends Colorado State.
