New Mural Makes Splash at Boys & Girls Club

Positive Street Art recruited several club members to assist in bringing some color to the common area.

Positive Street Art, an art in action group under the direction of Cecilia Ulibarri, Manuel Ramirez and Margret Williams, spent Saturday working with a group of club members, ages 10-17 to create a colorful mural on an inside wall at the community center.

Positive Street Art brings the arts right to the students with weekly mobile art classes to the Boys & Girls Club, which allows kids to explore various types of art projects.

BGCN members/artists who participated in the mural painting included: Nathan Ratty, Flossie Kimungu, Eddie Kimungu, Hector Collazo, Brenda Flores, and Kody Lopez.
