New Nashua Police Officer Graduates Top of Academy
Congratulations to new Nashua police officer Paul Auguste, who graduated at the top of his class in the state police academy.
NASHUA, NH — A new Nashua police officer recently graduated at the top of his class in the state police academy. A ceremony was held Friday for graduates of the academy's 170th class. Two new Nashua officers — Paul Auguste and Nicholas Markarian — graduated. Auguste earned the Arthur D. Kehas Outstanding Achievement Award, given to the class' best student.
The pair were hired by Nashua police in April 2016. They will now start a 13-week training program before they begin patrols.
Nashua police are currently hiring more officers. The starting salary is $51,573.
