NH Students Study Abroad, Graduate, Achieve Honors: Roundup
College students from Amherst, Bow, Concord, Milford, and Nashua receive accolades for their achievements this year.
Alex Cullen of Amherst, participated in the Bates College Junior Semester Abroad program. Cullen, a 2016 graduate of Souhegan High School, studied in Chile through IFSA, Valparaiso. Cullen is the child of Mr. and Ms. Brian J. Cullen of Amherst. He is majoring in environmental studies and English and minoring in Spanish at Bates.

Gabriella B. Foster of Nashua was recently named to the highly selective Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2018-19 academic year. Foster is one of 443 Colby students-or 23 percent of the qualified student body-to have earned a spot on the Dean's List last semester.

Foster, a member of the Class of 2019, attended Nashua High School South and is the daughter of Joseph Foster and Marissa Baltus of Nashua. Foster earned a semester grade point average of 3.78 or higher this spring to be included on Colby's Dean's List.
Samantha Perry of Bow was named to the Dean's List at Muhlenberg College for the Spring 2019 semester.

Students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.
The following students have been named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List at University of the Sciences.
- Jauhola-Straight of Concord, a Chemistry student.
- Gina Pustizzi of Nashua, a Biomedical Sciences student.
Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the spring of 2019.
Vermont Tech congratulates Emily Schmieder for achieving Dean's List Honors during the spring semester of 2019. Schmieder is pursuing their Associate of Applied Science in the Veterinary Technology program at Vermont Tech.
Dean's List honorees must achieve a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester.
Peter Gilbert of Nashua, is a member of the Class of 2019 at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. Gilbert graduated from the Electrical Engineering Technology-Electronics academic program.
Courtney DiFilippo of Concord graduated from Tufts University on May 19, with a degree in Biology (BS), Summa Cum Laude during a university-wide commencement ceremony that featured an address by award-winning actress and activist Alfre Woodard.

American International College awarded more than 600 undergraduate and graduate degrees to students representing 22 states and nine countries at the 134th Commencement on May 11.

Isabelle Rivas of Milford, received the Biomedical Engineering Department Award for Outstanding Senior at the May 18, College of Engineering Awards Ceremony in Rivers Memorial Hall on the University campus. This award is presented to a senior biomedical engineering student who has demonstrated academic success with an outstanding grade point average and has demonstrated professionalism in their studies. Rivas was also honored with the James V. Masi Biomedical Engineering Award at the ceremony. This award is the presented to Biomedical Engineering student, enrolled in Western New England University, who has demonstrated not only a mastery of Biomedical Engineering by achieving high academic goals, but an appreciation for the societal role of an engineer beyond their professional duties. The recipient of this award appreciates and demonstrates a desire to improve society through specific altruistic actions beyond their academic and professional pursuits.
Lasell College honored the Class of 2019 at the institution's 165th Commencement ceremony on, May 11. The ceremony took place on the College's Taylor Field and recognized a record number of graduate and undergraduate degree recipients.
