Why are you seeking elective office?

There are serious problems in the office of the County Attorney that need to be fixed and I have the experience and professionalism to fix those problems and keep our families safe here in Hillsborough County.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

There is a backlog of over 900 criminal cases where a suspect has been arrested and/or investigated, but there have not been formal criminal charges brought before a grand jury. I will work with law enforcement, judges, and the defense bar to move these cases forward so that everyone involved can get justice without waiting almost a year for a grand jury indictment.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Both of my opponents have accused the other of being the cause of problems in the Hillsborough County Attorney's office, sniping back and forth about who and which party is to blame. I'm seeking to serve my community by restoring good communication and professionalism to our prosecutor's office instead of arguing about who caused the problems.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Being elected chief prosecutor for New Hampshire's most populous jurisdictions without having any previous criminal law experience has resulted in missteps and breakdowns in processes and communication.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

My campaign is about seeking justice for all the people who live in Hillsborough County, regardless of their political affiliation. There isn't a Democratic or Republican way to seek justice for a rape victim, there's just a right way.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

In my legal career I've handled hundreds of felony criminal cases, including dozens that went to a jury trial. My criminal trial experience exceeds both of my opponents put together and I want to bring that experience to the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office to keep my family safe and yours.

Judge politicians based on their actions, not their words.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Our family chose to live in Manchester, New Hampshire because it offered a great place to raise our four children. When it became clear that my experience could improve the safety and security of the community we chose as a home, I knew I had to step up to run for this position.
