Northern Lights Visible from Nashua

The Northern Lights may be visible in Nashua Monday night due to a solar storm.

A rare G3 magnetic storm is anticipated Monday night, meaning the Aurora borealis—or Northern Lights—will be visible from an expanded area. They should be visible periodically throughout the night, perhaps peaking between midnight and 3 a.m.

Mostly clear skies throughout the region will increase the chances of catching a glimpse of the phenomenon.

the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks said there will be “highly active” auroral display.
