Obama Campaign Taking Advantage of Leap Day

Campaign hosting grassroots event around the state to try to bring new supporters on board.

Leap day comes just once every four years, and the Obama campaign in New Hampshire is putting it to good use as an extra day to organize and reach out to voters by hosting more than 15 grassroots events across the state.

The Obama campaign is calling this day of action a “Leap to Victory" and invites Granite Staters to join the Obama campaign on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at a grassroots event in their neighborhood. Work together to build this campaign the way it started – having conversations with your neighbors and bringing new supporters on board.

Earlier this month, the President went to Congress and defined in clear terms what he is fighting for in the months ahead – focusing on the middle Class and building an economy to last," according to a press release from Obama's New Hampshire campaign office. "We invite Granite Staters to join us on Feb. 29 and stand with President Obama – and our shared vision for this country – as we leap toward victory."
