Obituary: Anthony Ciccone, Bishop Guertin Graduate

PEPPERELL   – Anthony Michael Ciccone, 20, of Pepperell, was embraced in Jesus's loving arms on Saturday, September 2, 2012, as a .

Anthony was born on Feb. 10, 1992 in Derry, NH, the first son of Kenneth M Ciccone and Donna M (Halloran) Ciccone. He grew up in Pepperell and attended Presentation of Mary Academy, was a 2010 graduate of Bishop Guertin High School and most recently completed his sophomore year at Nichols College.

Anthony had a passion for sports. He participated in the TAP basketball league, club and travel soccer, High School Varsity soccer and lacrosse and was a member of the 2010 Nichols College NCAA TCCC Division lll Soccer Champions. He had also been a youth soccer referee for the past eight years in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Anthony was happiest when he was spending time with his friends. He loved going to the beach, fishing, playing X-box, strumming his guitar, or just hanging out by a campfire.

He had a passion for life, made friends easily, and was an enthusiastic, compassionate, and faithful young man whose presence here will be missed by many.

Besides his parents, he leaves his younger brother, Dominic J. Ciccone, maternal grandparents, John and Barbara Halloran of Berlin, MA; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Hamilton-McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113), Pepperell. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell. Donations may be made in Anthony's Memory to your local American Cancer Society.
