Obituary: Dorothy M. (Frazier) Nice, 'The 16th Alderman'
Services are private, but donations can be made in Dorothy's name to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.

Dorothy M. (Frazier) Nice, 89, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born on December 17, 1922 in Worcester, MA, daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Wignall) Frazier.
She was the loving wife of Walter Nice.
Dorothy was a proud member of the VFW Women’s Auxillary, as well as the Nashua Tax Payer’s Association. She attended many meetings for years at City Hall and was affectionately known as “the 16th Alderman.” She was also an avid campaigner throughout the years for many different candidates she believed in. At one time, she owned a floral company called Flower’s By Design.

Along with her devoted husband of 62 years, Walter, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, many close friends, and her loving dog, Fritz VI.
SERVICES: At Dorothy’s request there will be no visiting hours. A Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua.

In lieu of flowers those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Dorothy’s name are asked to consider the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064.
