OBITUARY: Mark A. Grandmaison

Longtime Nashua resident was a beloved father and grandfather.

Mark A. Grandmaison, 48, of Nashua passed away Friday February 10, 2012 surrounded by his family at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack following a lengthy illness.

Mark was born in Nashua on December 22, 1963, a son of Ansel Grandmaison of Nashua and the late Barbara (Bonyman) Grandmaison-Kodesh.

Mark was a lifelong Nashua resident. He had been employed as director of operations with his fathers company, Scrap Metals, Inc. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and he loved riding his Harley. Mark was a proud family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his father, Mark is survived by two daughters, Alicia Grandmaison of Lowell, Mass., and Brooke Bellevance of Florida; one son, Marcus Sanchez Grandmaison of Nashua; one grandson, Isaiah Grandmaison; three brothers, Michael and Kathi Grandmaison of Nashua, T.A. Brown of Nashua and Eian Gosselin of W. Palm Beach, Fl.; five sisters, Donna and Lawrence Kaowili of Nashua, Deborah Thibault of Manchester, Darlene and Robert Godfrey of Fitchburg, MA, Ella Gosselin of W. Palm Beach, Fla., and Kim and Jerry Nason of Wakefield; his longtime girlfriend, Stacey Radil of Nashua; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Mark’s name may be made to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
