I am not a gun guy but if I had a small business in the area and I was in a position to hire people, I would offer working class hero, Bear Cothran, a job. The guy is visually impaired, trying to support his family on what was probably lousy pay on a dangerous third shift job. He did what he had to do to protect himself. Shell would have gladly sacrificed him or any other third shift employee to protect their brand. Shell can do whatever it wants to do but I will not be purchasing gas there anymore. I can do what I want too.
Kudos to Carol Robidoux for writing an honest and courageous piece about the incident in the face of what will undoubtedly be a public outcry from the politically correct anti-gun zealots and political operatives.
