Normally I blog about makeup and skin care but I had to change it up this time and do a "Shout Out" to a new local company that totally made my day!

So the other day I was rushing to get ready for work, nothing out of the ordinary mind you and while I was putting on my makeup I quickly reached over for my lipstick and knocked my iPhone 5 off the vanity and onto my ceramic floor.

SMASH!!

You know that moment when your whole body freezes and with that last breath you're holding you pray for just one second that what you just saw didn't just happen? …Yeah. It was one of those moments.

My screen had that cracked spider web effect that made it next to impossible to check my mail so of course I am now momentarily devastated.

Luckily a friend of mine just had her screen fixed the week before and suggested I go where she went, a new company up on Amherst Street called Nashua iPhone Repair.

Since I had to run up that way for some errands anyways I stopped by to check them out. 

The location is a cute little corner spot in the LaFlamme professional building at 491 Amherst Street. (Right before Ciao’s pizza, another place I’d recommend if you are ever having an urge for delicious chicken wings.) 

So anyway, I walked in and explained what happened to my iPhone. The owner spoke with me personally and said that he sees this all the time and not to worry. He said if I left my phone with him, he would have my phone ready in less than an hour.

Life saver!!

So I did just that. I left my phone with him, went down the street for a coffee, ran some errands and then returned a little less than an hour later. Just as he promised my phone was good as new!

I was so happy. Not only was my phone fixed in less than an hour but his fee was only $139.

After talking with some of my friends who had theirs fixed in the mall or other places, I definitely feel I made the best choice. 

There’s something to be said about good customer service. Nashua iPhone Repair not only fixed my phone last minute in less than an hour but their prices were better than the competitors too! The owner was understanding and reassured me that he could have it fixed in no time.

That's why I love supporting local businesses. You just can't find that kind of service anywhere else. 

While talking with him I mentioned how my son had a 2nd Gen iPod that was just collecting dust because his screen was all scratched up and told me that they fix those too. 

He said even though their name is Nashua iPhone Repair, the number one product they find they are repairing the most are iPads. 

Local business are forever bringing them in to be fixed because they just can't beat the price.

So needless to say my son’s 2nd Gen will be on its way to them also because it is so much cheaper to have the screen fixed then buy a new one.

So thank you SO much Nashua iPhone Repair! I am sad I smashed my screen but happy you were able to fix it!

(Did I mention they sell accessories? While I was there I picked up a super cute pink zebra print case too!)

I would definitely suggest you contact them if you need a screen repaired. As for me, from now on I will leave my phone in the other room while I get ready.. ok, probably not, but at least I know where to go if I accidentally drop it again.
