Orangetheory Fitness Nashua Now Open on Amherst Street

There's a new option for exercise in greater Nashua, and it's like no other workout you've tried before.

Orangetheory Fitness, the energizing, heart rate-monitored fitness concept sweeping the nation has opened its first New Hampshire location at 345 Amherst Street in Nashua. Different from traditional gym workouts, Orangetheory Fitness offers 60-minute sessions broken into segments of cardiovascular, power, and strength training. The high-intensity interval training is the number one fitness trend of 2014, as ranked by the American College of Sports Medicine.

Owned and operated by first-time franchisees Dwayne and Karen Duprey of Hudson, Orangetheory Fitness uses group personal training to make working out fun and effective. Participants are coached every step of the way because everyone wears heart-rate-monitors during the classes to make sure they reach and stay in their targeted heart rate zone. The workouts use treadmills, rowing machines, suspension training and free weights.

“I’m thrilled to bring Orangetheory Fitness to greater Nashua,” said Dwayne Duprey. “We’re going to make a difference in people’s lives, and that makes me excited to get up every day and go to work.”
