NASHUA, NH — State Police believe fatigue may have been a factor in an early morning crash on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua that sent two men to the hospital. State Police said Carlo Adames, 43, of Lawrence Mass., suffered serious injuries and was transported to Elliott Hospital in Manchester, while Michael Duclos, 48, of Litchfield, suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries and was treated at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua.

The crash between two trucks happened shortly after midnight. State Police said they arrived near mile marker 5.6 and found the Dodge Ram that Duclos was driving had rear-ended a Ford F-150 that Adames was driving. Both trucks were inoperable and part of the northbound side of the highway was blocked for about 90 minutes during the investigation of the crash and removal of vehicles.

State Police said that, based on the preliminary investigation, driver fatigue appears to be a factor in the collision, but that all aspects of the crash remain under investigation.
