Overnight PSNH Outage Disrupts Service to 2,000

Power should be back on this morning for all customers.

An overnight outage left 2,000 PSNH customers without power for a few hours early this morning.

According to the PSNH Twitter feed, the outage began at about 1:45 a.m. and was resolved by 3:30 a.m.

PSNH spokesman Mike Skelton this morning said the problem was identified as a fault in the underground lines. The problem was initially reported as originating in the area of Amherst and Broad streets, although Skelton could not confirm that information this morning.
