Pair Arrested as Fugitives After Mass. Bar Shooting
Two others were charged by Fall River, Mass., Police, in the Jan. 25 incident at Latino's Café, and a fifth suspect is sought.

On Feb. 6 Nashua Police arrested Joshua Torres, 20, of 117 Walnut St., Nashua, and Kyrsten St. Martin-Diaz, 22, of 17 1/2, Mulberry St., Nashua, as fugitives from justice. The pair were wanted by Fall River, Mass., Police in connection with a Jan. 25 armed robbery of a night club.
Nashua Police Department Special Reaction Team assisted in executing the arrests warrants, and both Torres and St. Martin are being held until their next court appearance in the Nashua District Court on February 19, 2013.
According to Fall River police, on January 25, 2013 at 12:35 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to Latino’s Café located at 296 County St., Fall River, Mass., for a reported shooting inside the bar. Upon arrival police found a 40-year-old Fall River man had been struck in the back by a bullet as gunfire was exchanged in the bar during a robbery attempt. The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of his wound. It was also learned that one suspect had also sustained a gun shot wound when the owner of the bar, who is a licensed gun owner, exchanged fire with two of the robbery suspects.
An investigation by the FRPD Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Unit, with lead investigator Det. Raul Camara, gathered several pieces of evidence and spoke to numerous witnesses. During the course of the investigation information was provided and a lead in the case had developed.

This information led Fall River Detectives to Nashua to work in conjunction with the Nashua detectives, resulting in the Feb. 6 arrests.
Torres was the suspect that sustained a gunshot wound during the robbery. Upon his arrest he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

On February 7 a second search warrant was executed at a Fall River address with the assistance of the FRPD Emergency Services Unit. Fall River Police arrested 20-year-old Justin Anthony Rodriguez of 85 Davis St. Fall River. He is charged with armed and masked robbery, assault to murder with a firearm, armed assault to rob, carrying a firearm without a license, second offense, and firearm violation with one prior violent/drug crime.
Also arrested along with Rodriguez was Ashley Rodrigues, 19, of 112 Arizona St., Fall River. She is charged with accessory after the fact.
Another individual is being sought and the investigation between law enforcement agencies continues.
